Notice on Visa Application for the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair)
The 138th Canton Fair will officially open on October 15. The Visa Application Centre in Abuja, Nigeria will accept online applications for Canton Fair visas from September 22 to October 27. During this period, applicants holding a valid Canton Fair invitation letter may apply for an M-category visa. First-time travellers to China are not required to submit a Verification letter of Invitation or Invitation Letter TE.
Application Process
Step 1: Complete the Online Application
Please prepare the following documents:
1. A 2-inch photo with a white background
2. A clear scanned copy of your passport data page
3. Canton Fair invitation letter
4. Flight and hotel bookings
5. Business license of Introduction company in Nigeria. (CAC)
6. Company introduction letter
7. Bank statements from the past three months
Step 2: Submit Documents at the Visa Centre
Once your online application is approved, please bring your Visa application Certificate, Original passport, and Canton Fair invitation letter to the visa centre for biometric.
Step 3: Collect Your Passport
The Canton Fair visa does not offer expedited service. After submitting your documents at the visa centre, it takes 4 working days to process the visa. The pickup date may change depending on actual processing progress.
Kind Reminders:
1. When filling out the online application, ensure your personal information matches your passport.
In the column no. 6.2A “Inviting Party”, please write in full: “138TH Session of China Import and Export Fair.”
2. International travel history (not necessarily to China) will be conducive to obtaining a visa.
3. Submitting forged documents violates immigration laws and regulations. Applicants should be responsible for any consequences.
4. To facilitate your travel in China, please pay attention to the bulletin board or TV screens at the visa centre regarding online payment methods for foreigners in China.
