(M)Commercial trade
(1) Passport
a) Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application,with 2 or more blank visa pages.
b) Photocopy of the information page and extension page(if applicable) of the passport.
(2) Visa Application Form and Photo
* One fully completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken color passport photo(full face,front view,and bare head, against a light background, size 48X33mm) attached. Photo requirements
*You should complete an Online Application Form (where a Visa Centre provides such service).
Please remember to bring the completed form to the Visa Centre to submit your application.
(3) Proof of legal entry or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship)
If you are not applying for the visa in the country of your citizenship, you must provide the original and photocopy of residence,work or study permit in Ghana with at least 6 months of validity.
(4) Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable for those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship).
If you have obtained Chinese visas before and want to apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page. (If your name on the current passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official document of name change.)
(5) For citizens of other countries, the following supplementary document are required:
The original and photocopy of residence, work or study permit in Ghana with a minimum validity of six months remaining.
2. Supporting Documents
1. Certificate of employment stating the applicant’s name, passport number, job position and purpose to visit China,as well as a photocopy of employee’s card.
2. Letter of invitation issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair organizer, etc., which contains the following:
a) Information of the applicant(including full name, gender,date of birth, passport number,etc.);
b) Details of the planned visit(including purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, places to visit,relationship between the applicant and the inviting party,details of financial support etc.)
c) Information of the inviting party(including name, contact telephone number,address,official stamp, signature of the legal representative or individual).
The letter of invitation may be in the form of fax,photocopy or computer printout while consular officer may ask for the Original.
*The private enterprises or self-employed applicant who has been to China LESS THAN three times should provide an ORIGIANAL Invitation Letter(TE) or a Verification Letter of Invitation issued by a Duly Authorized Unit in China.
3. Company certificate and tax clearance record.
4. Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record(round trip) and proof of hotel reservation,etc.
5. Original bank statement of the latest 4 months which is signed and stamped by the bank.The average amount for each person is not less than 60,000 Cedis in the bank account per person.
(1) Invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but consular officers may require submission of the original of the invitation
(2) If necessary, consular officers may require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant.
(3) Consular officers will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
