The service fee of China Visa Application Center is priced in US Dollar, the visa is USD 40 per application for ordinary cases, USD 60 per application for express cases and USD 80 per application for special urgent cases. Since 2024, the foreign exchange rate of currency has changed considerably, our center will now implement the dynamic exchange rate adjustment mechanism and make adjustments in phases. It is now scheduled to implement the first phase of the service fee exchange rate adjustment to 25 USD from August 5, 2025, and the service fee exchange rate implementation standard is based on exchange rate of July 31, 2025.

The specific cost changes are set out below:

(1) Visa Fees are tax exempted and collected on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia.

(2) Application Service Fees are charged by the Visa Center.

(3) The total amount of the fees to be paid by an applicant= Visa fee + Application Service fee + TAX (application service fee × Tax rate).
