The Embassy of China in Algeria is pleased to inform you that in order to enhance the quality of its consular services and to improve the regularity, convenience, and security of consular fees payment, non-cash payment will soon be implemented for all fees related to consular documents (visas, passports, travel documents, notarizations, authentications, etc.). The concrete arrangements are as follows:
Implementation date: A transitional period will run from July 1 to July 31, 2025, during which payments may be made either in cash or by non-cash means. Starting from August 1, 2025, all consular fees must be paid exclusively via non-cash payment, and cash payment will no longer be accepted.
2. Payment method: At this stage, only payments made via Algerian bank cards through POS terminal are accepted. Any future introduction of additional non-cash payment methods will be announced in due course.
