Notice Regarding the Extension of the Unilateral Visa-Free Policy of China
To continue to facilitate cross-border travel, China has decided to extend its unilateral visa-exemption arrangements for Belgium and other 44 countries (list attached) to 24:00 (UTC+08:00) on December 31, 2026. Holders of ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries will be exempted from visa requirement provided that they enter China for the purpose of business, tourism, family or friend visit, exchange and transit and stay in China for no more than 30 days. Individuals not meeting the visa-exemption criteria must still obtain a visa prior to entry.
