Application Procedure
STEP 2: Offline Submission at the Visa Center after online review is completed
1. Submission at the Visa Center
Bring the following documents, additional materials may be requested.
(1) Visa Application Certificate (attached to the Approval email)
(2) Original passport
(3) Photo, if uploaded photo was rejected.
(4) Original and photocopy of kinship/marriage certificate/certificate of birth/foster care documents, if be required.
(5) For work visa (Z), if be required, bring the original and photocopy of “Confirmation Letter for Staff Appointment at the Center for Foreign Culture” to the Visa Center.
(6) For permanent residence visa (D) and be required to upload documents, please bring the original and photocopy of “the Confirmation Form for Foreigners Permanent Residence Status” issued by the Ministry of Public Security of China to the Visa Center.
All ordinary passports holders must provide their fingerprints collected. The following applicants can be exempted from fingerprints collection:
(1) Applicants under 14 or over 70 years old;
(2) Diplomatic passport holders, or applicants eligible for diplomatic/ official / courtesy visas;
(3) Applicants who provided fingerprints at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Korea with the same passport within past five years;
(4) Applicants with10-fingers mutilation or uncollectable fingerprints;
(5) From September 2, 2024 to December 31, 2025, short-term visa applications (staying for less than 180 days) for one or two entries will be exempted from fingerprints collection.
If the embassy determines that fingerprint collection is still required after review, the visa center will notify the applicant to provide supplementary fingerprints. The Chinese Embassy kindly request that applicants shall have their fingerprints collected in person. Those who forge fingerprints or use another person’s fingerprints will be denied entry into china and bear all the consequences incurred.
2. Payment methods
For individuals, the Visa Center accepts cash, debit Card, Credit Card. Travel agencies can also pay through bank transaction.
