Application Procedure
STEP 1: Online Submission
This website is for those who are going to apply for a Chinese visa in Dubai.
Please make sure you’ve chosen the correct location. (Check the Upper right corner of the page)
1. Create an account and sign in. (Check the Upper right corner of the page)
2. All applicants (excluding those applying for visas to Hong Kong SAR of China and Macao SAR of China) are required to:
2.1. Complete Online Visa Application Form.
2.2. Upload the visa application documents, including passport, photo and required supporting documents.
2.3. Click “Submit” button.
Please note:
a. Click “Submit” button on the PAY page, otherwise the status will be PENDING;
b. Online payment is not available now, and please pay when making submission at Visa Center after your application has been approved online.
3. Wait for the preliminary check and online approval. (Only after your online application review completed, applicant can carry with all documents including passport come to Visa Center for submission.)
3.1. You might receive an email stating you should upload additional documents or make other modifications, and the status will be “Rejected”.
3.2. You might receive a confirmation email when the application online review is completed, and the status will be shown as “Approved”. Please print the email attachment “Visa Application Certificate”(bring it to the Visa Center) with other required documents(Please refer to step 2).
Please Note: after receiving an email confirming online review completed of your application does not mean that your visa has been approved, whether your application will be accepted is subject to the confirmation from the visa center counter.
3.3. The application status can be checked by logging into your account. Please select the correct Created Date, otherwise, the system will display “No Data”. (If online application status is "approved" but no email is received, you can print the application form with barcode, screenshot of the "approved" website page and other documents, then come to visa center for submission)

Application Procedure
STEP 2: Onsite Submission at the Visa Center after your online application review completed (After you received email with "Visa Application Certificate”, onsite submission appointment is not required.)
Special Reminder: Applicants for diplomatic, official, courtesy, and other visas are still requested to submit their applications at the Chinese Consulate in Dubai.
1. Submit the following documents to the Visa Center (if necessary, you may be asked to provide more documents):
(1) Visa Application Certificate (attached to the Online Review Approval email) and duly signed visa application form
(2) Original current valid passport and original old passport (if applicable), applicants with multiple nationalities must bring all original valid passports
(3) Two passport-sized photo if the uploaded one is indicated as unqualified (taken within the last 6 months, white background, without a hat, in color, small 2-inch size 48mm×33mm).
(4) Original of a previous Chinese passport (if you were previously a Chinese national and are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time);
(5) Print and bring other supporting documents (all documents uploaded online).
All applicants holding ordinary passports will be requested to have their fingerprints collected. The following applicants can be exempted from fingerprints collection:
(1) Applicants under the age of 14 or over 70;
(2) Diplomatic or service passport holders, or applicants eligible for diplomatic, official and courtesy visas;
(3) Applicants who already had their fingerprints collected within the past five years at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Dubai with the same passport;
(4) Missing all ten fingers or unable to provide any of the ten fingerprints;
(5) From September 2, 2024, to December 31, 2025, applicants for short term visas (staying for less than 180 days) for single or double entries will be exempted from fingerprints collection.
Important notes: If the Chinese Consulate considers that fingerprint collection is still required after review, the Visa Center will inform the applicant.
The Chinese Consulate kindly request that applicants shall have their fingerprints collected in person. Those that forge fingerprints or use other people's fingerprints will be denied entry into China and bear all the consequences incurred.
2. Payment
Applicants shall pay the visa fee and service fee at Visa Center with cash and card.

The day of onsite submission (passport submission) is already count as 1 working day
Regular service is on 4 working days
Please make collection during the office hours at the Visa Center with the original pick-up form.
Please note: the date stated on your pick-up form is for estimation purposes only.
Submission and payment of applications: 9:00 to 15:00.
Collection: 9:00 to 16:00
