I.Common technical issues and precautions
1. How to check the submitted application form on the center website
1).Applicants log in to the center website, enter into "Personal Center", click "Details", and click "Completed" to check the status of the application form ;
2).If you cannot find the application form status, please adjust the creation date and search again;
3).If the applicant still cannot find the application, please contact the visa center which can assist the applicant in finding the application form.
2. Unable to submit after creating the application form in the center
1).Applicants may have submitted applications in other centers and must withdraw those applications before submitting new applications in our center.
2).If your application form cannot be submitted after being rejected, please check whether there is any incomplete or unsaved information, and please confirm that all required options have been filled in accurately.
3).Only one application form can be submitted with the same passport.
3. Withdrawal of Application Form
1).When the application status shows " under review ", the applicant can select the application to be withdrawn, click “view” in “operation”, and select “cancel application”. The center will determine whether to agree to cancel the application based on the reason for cancellation.
2).After withdrawing two applications for the same passport, you must wait 30 days before submitting a new application.
4. No information about application form modification or approval has been received.
1). The Visa Center will send the relevant information about the rejection of the application form, supplementary materials or approval to the email address used by the applicant to register an account with the Center.
2).Please ensure that the applicant's personal registered email address is a commonly used email address.
3). Check your email settings in advance to avoid emails being identified as spam or rejected.
II. Notes on filling in the application form and uploading materials
1.Non British applicants make online applications require submission of legal stay documents in the UK.
2. Applicants for M, Z, F, X1, X2, S1, S2, Q1, Q2 visas must fill in the information of the inviting organization or individual in section 6.2 of the application form. Ensure that the information is complete and accurate.
3. Please spare sufficient time for review of the flight tickets booked for L and G visa applications, and upload the flight tickets containing the applicant's name and all hotel orders for stays in China; for entry and exit from Hong Kong, a personal statement of entry and exit from the mainland should be provided and signed.
4. Applicants for M and F should provide an invitation letter that meets the requirements (with the seal of the unit, signature, and information of the inviter ).
5. Apply for Q2 family visit visa:
1).For a validity period of 5 or 10 years, all previous family visit visas and proof of immediate family relationship must be uploaded.
2).Minor applicants should upload their birth certificate (with parents’ information pages )as well as both parents’ passport information pages.
3) For minors, please fill in Item 9.2 of the application form.
6. Upload an electronic photo that complies with the regulations. For specific requirements, please refer to the Photo Specifications and Requirements for Chinese Visa Applications_Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland .
7. Applicants for the YES program should bring relevant materials (original passport, YES program invitation letter, personal photo, etc.) to the embassy for processing after receiving the visa application certificate of online review.
If the application is rejected, additional materials or information needs to be modified, which will be subject to re-examination. Please spare sufficient time for the application and ensure that the application form information, passport and uploaded document information are complete and accurate.
