【Start from 15/9/2025】Postal Service Checklist
Postal service ONLY apply to the Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia applicants who are eligible to the fingerprint exemption policies.
1. For details of the fingerprint exemption policy:
1.1 "Notice on Fingerprints Collection of Visa Applicants"
1.2 "Notice on Exempting Fingerprints Collection for Certain Types of Visa Application"
Please provide all the required documents once. If there are any documents missing, we will have to place your application into “Pending” and ask you to send the missing documents. In order not to delay your application progress, please make sure to read the following requirements carefully.
2. Instructions for postal service:
2.1 The visa center only accepts Australia Post delivery and does not bear any responsibility for losses or damages caused during transportation;
2.2 Applications that meet the requirements will be directly processed without further notice. You can check the visa status through the website;
2.3 Application made through Postal Service generally requires 10 working days (exclude transit time). Should supplementary documentation be required, processing times may be prolonged accordingly. We advise you to plan your itinerary accordingly and recommend purchasing tickets only after your visa has been granted.
2.4 The fee amount to be charged can be find under the postal column in the Schedule of fees. Please check the Schedule of fees table for details.
2.5 Please avoid using methods such as binding, stapling, or sticking adhesive labels to organize your application materials.

3.1 Please mark on the envelope as:Visa Documents
3.2 Please use an Express Post Prepaid Satchel to post your application documents.
4.Submit Physical Materials
4.1 Original passport / Travel Document
(1) The original Passport / Travel Document issued by Australia or other country.
(2) Original of a previous Chinese passport (if you were previously a Chinese national and are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time)
4.2 One printed copy of the “Visa Application Certificate”, which can be downloaded and printed from the approval email received after passing the Visa Application Online Processing.
4.3 One recent passport-sized photos (please click here for photo specifications).
4.4 If uploaded materials include proof of family relationship or property ownership, bring the original file (if applicable, please click here for details).
4.5 Other supporting materials as specified.
4.6 Payment Authorization Form(click to download)
This Payment Authorization Form must be submitted by post with the rest of the needed documents. Ensure all details are complete and accurate. If the cardholder name differs from the applicant's name, please note the applicant's name on the Payment Authorization Form.
4.7 Provide an Australia Post Express Post Prepaid Envelope with the return address fully completed.
The Visa Application Centre will only use envelopes provided by the applicant to return passports (if the envelope does not bear the applicant's name, please ensure the applicant's name is clearly written on the satchel as well).
Note:For enhanced reliability, applicants may also opt for the"Signature on Delivery" service when purchasing the envelope.
Please keep a record of your tracking number so you can track your envelope on Australia Post website.
We will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage to your envelope.
