Scope of Application

International train crew members, international aircraft crew members, crew members of international navigation ships and their accompanying family members, and drivers engaged in international road transportation performing crew, aviation, or shipping tasks.

Documents to Upload for Online Review

• Passport: Information page and 2 blank pages;

• Photo: Recent, front-facing, color (white background), bareheaded, official ID photo. Click here to view photo requirements;

• Valid stay or residence certificate (for applicants not holding Mexican nationality). Mexican citizens may upload a scanned copy of their ID card or passport information page;

• Scanned copy of previous Chinese visa. Applicants with no prior visa records may upload their passport information page;

• Applicant's professional certificate as a seaman, pilot, or crew member;

• Invitation letter issued by the relevant unit in China and guarantee letter issued by the foreign transportation company, including flight or navigation plan.

Documents to Bring When Submitting Passport After Review Approval

• Original passport;

• 1 Visa Photo;

• Visa Application Confirmation;

• Valid Chinese visa (if applicable);

• Original Chinese passport (for applicants who previously held Chinese nationality and later acquired foreign nationality, applying for a Chinese visa for the first time).

Notes

• The validity period of the applicant's professional certificate as a seaman, pilot, or crew member must be at least 40 days;

• The personal information in the invitation letter issued by the relevant unit in China and the guarantee letter issued by the foreign transportation company must be completely consistent with the information in the applicant's passport.

Special Instructions

• Consular officers may, at their discretion, require applicants to provide additional supporting documents or supplementary materials, or conduct an interview with the applicant;

• Consular officers will decide whether to issue a visa, as well as the validity period, number of entries, and duration of stay based on the applicant's specific circumstances.
