Application Procedure

Start from 30 June 2025:

Step 1: Submit Application Online‌

This website is for applicants applying for a Chinese visa in Phnom Penh. Please ensure you have selected the correct address. (Note: Check the top right corner of the page.)

Create a personal account and log in. (Note: Check the top right corner of the page.)

All applicants (excluding those applying for Hong Kong SAR or Macao SAR visas) must complete the application form online:

(1) Complete the visa application form online.

(2) Upload all supporting documents, including your passport, photo, and other application materials.

(3) Click the Submit button. If the status shows "Under review", the submission is successful.

After successful submission, wait for the online review to be completed. (Once the online review is completed, you can go to the visa center to submit your passport and other application materials.)

You will receive an email notification when the online review is completed. Please print the "Visa Application Receipt" attached to the email and bring it, along with other materials (see Step 2 for the list of required materials), to the visa center. If you do not receive an email notification, please log into your account to check the status. If it shows "Online review completed", you can call the visa center’s contact number or send an email to the visa center for inquiries.

During the entire online visa application process, you can log into your account at any time to check the current application status:

a. Status shows "Pending": The application has not been successfully submitted. You must click the Submit button again on the fee confirmation page.

Currently, the Phnom Penh Chinese Visa Application Service Center does not support online payment. Payment can be made when you go to the visa center to submit your materials. Therefore, the payment step during the online review stage is only for confirming the visa fee, and no actual charge will be made.

b. Status shows "Under review": The application has been submitted successfully. Please wait patiently for the review to be completed.

c. Status shows "Rejected": This means your application has been rejected. You will also receive an email notification informing you of the content that needs to be revised or the materials that need to be supplemented. This does not mean your visa has been refused. Please carefully read the instructions in the email, revise the application form or supplement the materials as required, and then submit again.
