Notice on Further Extending the Period and Expanding the Scope of the Policy of Exempting Fingerprint Collection for Visa Applications to China

To further facilitate visa applicants to China, from now until December 31, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia will exempt all applicants for short-term visas with a stay of 180 days or less from fingerprinting.

For visa applicants with the characters D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 and Z who need to apply for residence permits after entering China, fingerprints will still be collected as required.
