Online Application Process for Chinese Visa:
(I) Prepare Visa Application Materials
Please prepare the required visa application materials in advance according to the type of visa you are applying for. The application materials include basic documents and other supporting documents.
(II) Fill Out the Visa Application Form Online and Upload Materials
Step 1: Visit the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (here in after referred to as the “Visa Application Center”) at www.visaforchina.cn, (http://www.visaforchina.cn/) find the Tashkent Visa Application Center, register, and log in.
Step 2: Fill out the visa application form online as instructed, upload the required materials in order, and submit the application.
Step 3: Please make sure to click the “Submit” button again on the fee confirmation page; otherwise, your application status will remain as “PENDING.”
Step 4: Wait for preliminary review approval and check the status in “Application Status Inquiry” to stay updated on the processing progress.
Special Reminder:
Online review takes some time, so please plan your travel accordingly. After submission, the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan or the Tashkent Visa Application Center may request further documentation at any time. If you are asked to modify or supplement materials, your application status will be marked as “Rejected” or “Returned for Correction.” Make the required changes and resubmit. If the review is approved, the status will show “Approved.”
(III) Submit the Visa Application Materials
1. When your application status shows “Approved” and you have received the confirmation email:
(1) You must bring a printed Visa Application Submission Confirmation to the Tashkent Visa Application Center on weekdays from 09:00 to 15:00 to submit the documents in person.
(2) A representative may submit the documents on your behalf (only if the applicant qualifies for fingerprint exemption).
2. Required Documents:
(1) Original passport.
(2) One printed photo (taken within the last 6 months, color, bareheaded, passport size: 48mm x 33mm).
(3) Original Chinese passport (if you have previously held Chinese nationality and are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time).
(4) Other supporting documents as required.
3. Fingerprint Collection:
Applicants must provide ten fingerprints at the Visa Application Center. The following are exempt from fingerprinting:
(1) Individuals under 14 or over 70 years of age;
(2) Holders of diplomatic passports or applicants eligible for diplomatic, official, or courtesy visas;
(3) Applicants who have previously submitted fingerprints at the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan within the past five years using the same passport;
(4) Members of diplomatic missions in China and their accompanying spouses, parents, and minor children;
(5) Applicants with all ten fingers missing or unable to provide fingerprints;
(6) From September 2, 2024 to December 31, 2025, applicants for short-term (180 days or less) single- or double-entry visas are exempt from fingerprinting.
Important Notice:
Applicants must appear in person for fingerprint collection. If someone else impersonates the applicant, the individual involved will be denied entry into China and bear all resulting consequences.
(IV) Payment
1. Full payment must be made at the time of document submission. This includes both visa and service fees.
2. Online payment is not yet available. Currently, there is only one payment method:
Once your application passes the online review, you (or a representative) must pay the fees at the Visa Application Center during document submission.
Special Reminder:
If your visa is not approved by the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, is rejected, or if the number of entries, validity period, or duration of stay is modified, the actual visa fee will be charged accordingly. Visa service fees are non-refundable.
(V) Collecting Documents
Applicants must collect their passports using the Collection Receipt received at the time of application submission, during the designated collection hours at the Visa Application Center.
