Postal service ONLY applies to applicants who reside in Western Australia and meet the fingerprint exemption policy.

For details of the fingerprint exemption policy, please refer to

"Notice on Fingerprints Collection of Visa Applicants" on February 28, 2024"

Please ensure that all required documents are submitted at the same time. Incomplete applications will be placed on hold until all required documents are received. To ensure your postal application is smoothly and efficiently, please read the following instructions carefully.

Instructions for Postal Service:

1.Only deliveries via Australia Post are accepted. The visa center is not responsible for any loss or damage during transit;

2. Applications that meet the requirements will be processed without further notice. You can check the visa status on our website;

3.The processing time is ten working days (excluding postal delivery time). It is strongly advised not to purchase air tickets before your visa is granted.

4. A Postal application fee applies. Please refer to the Schedule of fees for details；

5. Do not bind the materials with staplers, paper clips or stickers.

Postal visa application checklist:

1. Visa application form with original signatures.

2. Original passport. (must have at least six months' validity and at least two blank visa pages). If recently renewed, please include your previous passport.

3. A photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page (if separate).

4. A photocopy of the last Chinese visa, if applicable.

5. Previous Chinese passport if you apply for a Chinese visa for the first time and previously hold Chinese nationality.

6. Two recent passport photos, please refer to the photo requirements.

7. Payment Authorization Form

8. A paid, self-addressed Australia Post registered envelope. Please keep a record of your tracking number to track your parcel on the Australia Post website.

Regarding the application form:

(1) Application form number should begin with “PER”.

(2) Please fill in all the information on the application form accurately. Incomplete information will result in processing delays.

(3) Original handwritten signatures are required.Copies or electronic signatures will not be accepted. Signatures must appear in the following sections:

- Application form: Confirmation of Online Visa Application page

- Application form: Page 6- Applicant's signature

- Application form: Page 6-Signature of the person filling in the form on the applicant’s behalf (if applicable)
