1. Cessation of Operations at Gwangju and Jeju Centers & Mailing Application Notice

According to relevant notifications, the China Visa Application Service Centers in Gwangju and Jeju will cease operations officially from September 15, 2025. During the period from September 5 to September 12, 2025, the Gwangju Center (on September 5, 8, 10, and 12) and the Jeju Center (on September 8) will only accept passports collection and will no longer accept new visa applications. Starting September 15, applicants from Gwangju and Jeju may submit applications via mail or by visiting the Seoul Center. September 12, 2025, is the last working day for the Gwangju Center, and September 8, 2025, is the last working day for the Jeju Center. Please collect your passport from the respective Gwangju or Jeju Visa Application Center before these dates. If you fail to collect your passport during this period, please retrieve it from the Seoul Visa Application Center starting September 15, 2025. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Starting September 15, 2025, applicants from Gwangju and Jeju may personally visit the China Visa Application Service Center in Seoul to submit their visa applications or submit applications via mail to the Seoul Visa Application Service Center. Applicants need click the "Download" section on the Center's homepage, download and fully complete the Mailing Disclaimer. The applicant must send this completed disclaimer along with the passport and application materials to the Center. Applications received without the Mailing Disclaimer, passport, or required materials will not be processed. Before submitting an application, applicants must complete the online application form on the Seoul Center website (Step 1, Step 2, Step 3), and confirm they receive the "Visa Application Confirmation Email" and "Visa Application Confirmation Certificate" before initiating the visa application process.

2. Visa Application Procedure:

In accordance with the notice from the Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Korea, starting June 30, 2025, applicants must create/log in to an account on the Visa Application Center website, access the personal center, complete the online "Visa Application Form," and upload the application materials. Please click on Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 to view the application procedure. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!

Special Reminder: Please ensure the application status is "Online Review Completed" and you have received the confirmation email before submitting your passport, materials, and payment at the Visa Center.
