Dear Applicants,

Starting from 10:00AM, 15 September 2025, all applicants can enjoy the convenience of filling out the form and uploading application materials online (excluding visa applicants for Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR of China). Submission of physical documents at the Visa Center will only be permitted once the online review process has been successfully completed.

Please note that passing the online review process does not guarantee visa approval.

Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Sydney will conduct a system upgrade from 17:00 on Friday, 12 September 2025 to 10:00 on Monday, 15 September 2025.Upon completion of the upgrade, all application forms previously completed on the current website will become invalid. Accordingly, applicants who have already filled out forms on the existing system must ensure that their complete application materials are submitted to the Visa Center in Sydney no later than 14:00 on 12 September, 2025.

In addition, during the system upgrade period (17:00 on September 11, 2025 to 10:00 on September 15, 2025), please refrain from filling out or submitting forms on the website to avoid any loss of your application information.

*After the upgrade to the new system, our center will serve: Ordinary visa applications for China by Australian citizens or third-country nationals residing in New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, the Northern Territory and Queensland.
